Interviewing at Arm

Congratulations on reaching the interview stage at Arm! Now, let’s ensure you shine brightly throughout the process. Here are your most common questions answered.

***

How many stages of interview are there?

Typically, there are two stages of interviewing. The first stage involves an on-demand video interview through a platform called HireVue. In here, you will be able to record responses to a series of questions within a specified time limit. For non-technical questions, you will have the option to re-record your answer.

The final-stage interview typically involves a virtual video interview and on occasion, may be held in-person. During this interview, you’ll connect with the Arm team to discuss your interests and skills. Expect a mix of behavioural and technical questions relevant to the role. It’s your chance to demonstrate how you align with our dynamic culture and innovative vision.

The link to my on-demand video interview (HireVue) has expired. What should I do?

Please contact our Talent Acquisition team at TA-admin@arm.com, and a team member will assist you in resolving this issue.

Will I receive feedback if my application is unsuccessful?

At Arm, we value every candidate who takes the time to apply. Regardless of the outcome, we will notify you of your application status. While we strive to provide feedback to all applicants, detailed feedback is typically reserved for those who reach the final interview stage due to the volume of applications. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to continue exploring opportunities with us.

How do I request an accommodation for the interview process?

At Arm, we want our people to Do Great Things. If you need support or an accommodation to Be Your Brilliant Self during the recruitment process, please email accommodations@arm.com. To note, by sending us the requested information, you consent to its use by Arm to arrange for appropriate accommodations. All accommodation requests will be treated with confidentiality, and information concerning these requests will only be disclosed as necessary to provide the accommodation. Although this is not an exhaustive list, examples of support include breaks between interviews, having documents read aloud or office accessibility. Please email us about anything we can do to accommodate you during the recruitment process.

Receiving an Offer

Congratulations! You have an offer! Your offer comes with a wealth of benefits designed to enhance both your professional and personal growth. So what's next?

***

I have verbally accepted an offer but have not received a contract to sign yet. When will my contract be sent?

During peak periods, it may take up to 48 hours for your contract to be sent following verbal acceptance. Your offer will be delivered by email.

I'm completing my background check but have been logged out and/or cannot access my log in details. What do I do?

Please reach out to your People Hub contact, as indicated in your most recent email or communication. The team will assist you with either resending a new link to access the HireRight portal or help with resetting your login credentials.

What is Arm's stance on visa sponsorship in the UK?

We value the contributions of individuals from all backgrounds. If you don’t currently hold the right to work in the UK, Arm is authorised to sponsor individuals. You’ll need to meet the eligibility criteria for your applicable Visa which may vary. For more detailed information or if you’re uncertain about your right to work, please visit the official UK Visas and Immigration website.

Early Careers Programs

You are about to start one of our early careers programs and your journey at Arm will be nothing short of brilliant! What else should you know before starting?

***

Will I be able to meet other participants before the program starts?

Yes, with your permission. After you sign your contract and complete onboarding, our Talent Acquisition team will facilitate connections among participants. This is usually done through company updates sent by email, a private LinkedIn group, and optional virtual pre-join calls. Participation in these activities is voluntary, and we will always seek your consent before connecting you with others in the program.

Will I be offered a role after completing the Graduate Program?

At Arm, we integrate Graduates as permanent team members from the beginning. Our Graduate Program spans two years, during which you will receive ongoing support, development opportunities, and engage in social activities. Upon completion of the program, you will roll-off as a skilled member of the team.

Can I defer my entry if I have received an offer from Arm?

Requests for deferral are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Please discuss your situation with your Talent Acquisition contact for further assistance. You can reach us at TA-admin@arm.com.
