Around 70% of your learning journey will happen as you immerse yourself in your daily work, learning the nuances of your role, engaging in cross-functional projects, and taking on new challenges and assignments. Another 20% comes from building meaningful relationships through coaching, feedback, performance and career discussions, mentorships, and participating in professional networks. The remaining 10% is cultivated through formal training, eLearning, certifications, conferences, classes, courses, independent reading, self-study (including LinkedIn Learning and O’Reilly), and performance support.

myImpact on Arm

It’s important for everyone at Arm to understand the work they’re expected to deliver and the impact it will make to Arm as a whole. The myImpact process provides you with the structure to connect with your manager to align on the goals you’ll work towards.

Feedback is an important part of Arm’s culture and continuous growth and development. As the year progresses, you’ll ask for and receive regular feedback in the flow of your work, so you can learn from the perspectives and experiences of your colleagues.

At defined points of the year, you’ll connect with your manager for a development-focused conversation where you’ll discuss the impact you’ve made – including areas where your performance is exceptional and areas where there’s the opportunity to do more.

At Arm, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with trusted mentors and colleagues to talk about your broader career goals and the capabilities required to get there in the form of a Career Conversation.
