Arm Munich

Where Bavarian Culture Meets Innovation

Located in the heart of Bavaria, Arm’s Munich office is not only a hub for microcontrollers but also a place where you can enjoy beer, skiing, and the rich Bavarian atmosphere.

Office Culture

Our Munich office has a creative and supportive environment. The general working hours are 38 hours per week. We enjoy a mixture of working from home and coming to the office, when we meet each other face-to-face which helps to foster a community feeling and spark new ideas.

While the company language is English, many people in the office speak German – we sponsor language training courses for employees to help them improve their German speaking skills.

Many employees have lunch together, and sometimes we even go to the Biergarten! We are looking forward to exploring the new surroundings in Aschheim.

We have a community event every quarter where we focus on knowledge-sharing and building a sense of togetherness. Sometimes, we have excursions, such as skiing trips to the Alps, which are only 40 km away. Skiing, cycling and hiking are very popular in this part of Germany, and many people in the office like to get together outdoors at weekends and after work.

Office Spaces

Our office in Munich offers a fresh and modern workspace in the state-of-the-art "heads" building in Aschheim.

Instead of having one large open-plan space, we have small breakout rooms that have enough space for 4 or 6 people to work in at a time, 5 meeting rooms, phone booths, a multipurpose room and disabled access. Here at Arm Munich, we cater for everyone’s needs as we know an inclusive workplace makes a productive workplace.

Departments in the Office

The Munich office focuses primarily on microcontrollers and processor IP. Our work includes developing Keil MDK, ULINK debug adapters, and the CMSIS software standard for Cortex-M and Cortex-A microcontrollers. In addition to our engineering team, we have a small sales team and specialists in automotive applications, reflecting the importance of the car industry in Germany.

Coming Together as a Team

In Munich, we pride ourselves on our strong sense of community. Quarterly events focus on knowledge sharing and local community building. Popular team-building activities include skiing trips to the Alps and outdoor gatherings.

Development Opportunities

Arm’s Munich office provides extensive opportunities for professional growth. We support employees in pursuing technical advancements or management roles through mentorship and structured training programs.

Office Amenities

Our office space features three green terraces, a large kitchen, and a south-facing breakout area with stunning mountain views.

The "Heads" building offers additional services such as a concierge, restaurant, and much more. The office is wheelchair accessible.

Office Location and Local Spaces

The Munich office is located in Aschheim, just 12 km from downtown Munich, accessible via a 25-minute public transport journey. The mall “Riem Arcaden” is just 2 bus stations away from our new office.

Munich is home to numerous tech and automotive giants, creating a vibrant and dynamic environment. The surrounding area includes forest trails for lunchtime walks and easy access to the city’s cultural and social amenities.

Relocation Information

Munich is a lively and exciting city to live and work in. Although we are on the city's edge, downtown is less than half an hour away.
Newcomers often enjoy exploring the Englischer Garten, Munich’s old town, Marienplatz, and famous sites like the Residenz and Schloss Nymphenburg. We also organize team outings to Oktoberfest, a must-visit for beer enthusiasts.
And then there’s the Oktoberfest – for beer lovers, it’s the main event of the year. We always make sure we organize a team outing to make the most of it!
