Parveen Kumar’s journey at Arm began six years ago at the Noida office in India, bringing with him 17+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry. As a key role in the Solution Engineering Physical IP Memory Development team, Parveen not only tackles technical challenges but also leads his team with enthusiasm and gratitude for the supportive environment. 

Working in the Memory Development team at Arm, Parveen finds excitement and challenge in navigating diverse memory types and the latest technologies. As a people manager, he thrives on being part of his team’s development and growth, and balancing the delicate art of providing the right advice while keeping the team motivated. 

Volunteering with Team Arm: Impacting Lives and Communities 

Parveen’s involvement with Arm goes beyond his technical role. As the Noida office Team Arm champion, he spearheads volunteering activities with multiple NGO’s. He says, Arm has been very supportive and encouraging people to engage in volunteering and community initiatives.”

Team Arm is Arm’s employee community engagement program – a force for positive change for our people and for the communities where we live and work. The team’s efforts extend to direct assistance for those in need and fundraising for various causes, reflecting a commitment to creating a positive impact in the community. 

Parveen believes that Arm’s commitment to community engagement shines through its support for employees in volunteer and community initiatives. He encapsulates the spirit of volunteering at Arm, saying “Any opportunity to help people in need and enabling sustainable growth is worth caring for.” With volunteer groups at each site, employees have the freedom to choose causes close to their hearts. Arm allocates half a day each month for volunteer activities and provides charitable donations to amplify impact of these initiatives

He cherishes numerous moments with Team Arm, from cleanliness drives to food distribution. One particular experience stands out – distributing blankets at night to those in need during the harsh winter season, a life-changing endeavor that showcased the team’s dedication to making a difference.
