Job Overview:
Enterprise Security is looking for a Security Project Manager to join the Security Transformation & Performance team!
This role sits at the centre of how we deliver security transformation at Arm. You’ll work across a wide range of teams to build and deliver initiatives that improve how we operate and strengthen our security posture.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for security initiatives from initial concepts through to completion. That means helping define what success looks like, collaborating with others to build a plan, and then keeping things moving.
A big part of the role is working with people. You’ll spend time with security specialists, IT as well as internal and external partners, building relationships and keeping everyone aligned as work progresses. Not everything will go to plan, so you’ll need to spot risks early, deal with issues as they come up, and keep momentum going.
You’ll balance multiple priorities, make clear trade-offs, and manage budgets and timelines, while keeping your work aligned with the bigger picture for security at Arm.
We’re less focused on finding someone who ticks every box, and more interested in how you work and how your approach complements our team.
Required Skills and Experience:
You’ll be comfortable working in organisations where teams and priorities are distributed and constantly evolving, and where not everything is fully defined from the start.
The way you approach your work matters most. You take initiative rather than waiting for direction, and you’re comfortable asking questions, challenging when needed, and working things through when the path isn’t obvious.
You build strong relationships and people enjoy working with you. You communicate clearly, keep things simple where possible, and know how to bring others along. When things get difficult, you focus on how to move forward rather than why something can’t be done.
Alongside this, you’ll bring experience delivering security or technology projects, and feel confident managing complexity across multiple teams, priorities and dependencies.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
It would be useful if you’ve worked with recognised security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Controls, or have been involved in security improvement initiatives like vulnerability remediation or maturity programmes. Experience in semiconductor or similarly advanced technology environments, and in large, globally distributed organisations, would also be valuable.
Familiarity with enterprise security technologies or platforms, and relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, are helpful but not essential.
You don’t need decades of experience, but you should be self-sufficient, proactive and motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
Growth and opportunity:
This role is built to grow. As you build context and relationships, you’ll take on more ownership and play a bigger part in crafting how we deliver security change.
Over time, there is scope for this role to become a key partner within the team, supporting leadership and helping to drive the broader transformation agenda.
In Return:
You’ll work on meaningful security transformation at a time when Arm is evolving rapidly and shaping the future of computing. Our technology underpins billions of devices worldwide, and you’ll play a part in protecting what comes next.
You’ll collaborate with a wide range of teams across the business, gaining exposure to different perspectives and ways of working. Along the way, you’ll build your skills in an environment that encourages curiosity, shared learning and continuous improvement.
