Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our Colleague Experience team. We support the entire business, not just IT, enabling Arm to move ahead with hiring the right people who can easily express their ideas! You'll be part of a small team formed of both internal and external colleagues, based within the IT Group at Arm’s Headquarters in Cambridge.
You will be strong leader with a can-do attitude, quick to adapt to Arm’s culture. Your attention to detail, careful planning, risk management and monitoring, appreciation of the value of testing and ability to challenge IT colleagues as appropriate will enable you to maintain project momentum and engage our customers to deliver successfully.
You will stand out for this role if you have extraordinary people management, interpersonal skills and domain expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Run the project lifecycle of projects in the Colleague Experience portfolio, from complex infrastructure implementations to people systems
- Run projects from the initial set up and budgeting, including design, build, test and cutover/implementation in line with quality and time.
- Drive project delivery through day to day engagement with IT teams and business customers.
- Lead vendor teams and matrix manage to a high standard.
- Effectively communicate project status regularly and handle risk accordingly.
- Take ownership of issues, demonstrating situational leadership.
- Plan project budgets with a high degree of accuracy.
Required Skills and Experience:
- You will be experienced in People Systems and ServiceNow projects.
- You are adaptable, with the ability to flex your style and approach to meet the needs of the Business and the Project.
- Adept at planning and tracking budgets and business value.
- Skilled in handling dependencies across multiple suppliers and third parties.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating and collaborating with teams across different subject areas.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodologies!
