Job Overview:
Responsible for developing and integrating security and authorization changes across the SAP estate throughout the software development lifecycle.
Skilled in SAP Basis within S/4HANA, Fiori-first, and BTP-based landscapes, with a clear understanding of how SAP systems align with enterprise architecture and business processes.
Requires a B.Tech or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience, within a global organization.
Based in the Bengaluru office, operating on a 16x5 shift pattern with on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Providing L2 and L3 SAP security and L2 basis support.
- Testing and delivery of Role based SAP Security into Production environments alongside functional solutions and teams.
- Supporting Sod/SoX related clean up initiatives and actions.
- SAP User management in project and production environments.
- Modernizing SAP Basis through continuous improvement.
- Good exposure to SAP BTP, IAS, and IPS, with hands-on experience in user provisioning, integration.
- Client open close activities, monitoring system health score and support in downtime activities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in SAP S/4 Security, roles, authorizations, and controls in SoX-compliant environments.
- Skilled in BTP/Fiori catalog and role-based security, delivering solutions in DevOps settings.
- Experienced in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, Solman, GTS, and EMS security components.
- Proficient in identity and access management, including SAP CUA and GRC AC.
- Experienced in administering ECC, S/4HANA, CPI, Solman, BTP and GTS systems.
- Solid understanding of SAP HANA and Sybase databases, using HANA Studio, Cockpit, and scale-up/scale-out setups.
- Familiar with SAP on SUSE Linux and Windows, and SAP NetWeaver components (WAS, Gateway, Front End Server).
- Adept at performance tuning, monitoring, and issue resolution using Solman, Early Watch, ST22/ST04/ST06, and logs.
- Experience with SAP BTP services and cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated success in operational support, including incident, request, change, and problem management in accordance with ITIL guidelines.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Involvement of preparing for SAP Security audits, security gap analysis & identification. Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.
- SAP GRC Access Control/IAG for compliance and risk mitigation across FI/CO, MM, SD, RAR, GTS, HCM processes!
- Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Security and Authorisations, or certifications in SAP GRC.
- Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Professional - SAP Basis!
