In this role, you will serve as a reliable finance advisor to Business Unit Finance Directors and their leadership teams. You will provide insightful, forward-looking analysis that supports improved decisions and speeds up business performance. You will take strong ownership and influence results through data, challenge, and collaboration across Arm.
Job Overview
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will combine strong financial expertise with commercial insight to shape planning, challenge assumptions, and see opportunities to improve performance. You will be accountable for key financial processes and outputs, while continuously refining how finance supports the business with clarity, pace, and impact!
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted, credible relationships with senior collaborators. Develop a deep understanding of your business areas. Contribute as an active member of the wider team
- Work alongside Finance Directors and budget holders to build strong forecasts and budgets, providing well-considered input and ensuring consistency with strategic priorities
- Provide clear, high-quality financial analysis by interpreting complex data into practical insights, emphasizing risks and opportunities, and aiding swift decision-making
- Own month-end close activities for your areas, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and clear performance narratives.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly business reviews, providing concise, data-driven commentary and recommendations to senior partners.
- Proactively recognize performance risks and opportunities, applying scenario modelling and data analysis to aid informed and timely decisions
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and planning tools, simplifying where possible and improving efficiency and data quality
- Maintain and enhance financial models and planning systems (e.g. Adaptive), ensuring data integrity and usability to support business needs.
- Support workforce planning and cost management, ensuring accurate tracking of positions and alignment with financial forecasts.
- Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative finance team, sharing guidelines and supporting capability development
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience, AAT qualified, or part-qualified/finalist (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent), with clear intent to complete qualification.
- Proven experience in a finance or business partnering role, with strong exposure to forecasting, planning, and performance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to handle large, complex datasets and produce meaningful insights.
- Advanced Excel and data management skills; experience with SAP (S/4HANA), Oracle Fusion, Databricks or Adaptive Planning is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaborator management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and initiative, with the capability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement approach, with a focus on driving efficiency, simplification, and business impact.

Salary Range:
$152,100-$205,700 per yearWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
