Job Overview:

This sales role is to proactively engage with Arm customers, develop the activities, strategy and relationships driving Arm adoption and customer success. Key responsibilities include developing professional long-term relationships with executive management as well as technical and marketing personnel at the customer, crafting and reliably driving innovative account strategies. The ability to listen, build trust, and pursue innovative ideas that will best serve each customer, while finding ways for Arm to add more value to serve their interests. With clear goals and objectives, this person will be working as part of the North America Sales Team, based in the Bay Area.

Working in a flexible manner with Arm’s Lines of Business, Licensing, Finance and Legal teams, it is fundamental to understand and address customer requirements, while keeping an understanding of Intellectual Property license agreements.

Responsibilities:

Proactively work with customers, develop and manage the customer journey from initial contact through to building a long-term relationship with Arm. Take ownership for each customer's full experience with Arm, ensure that every contact point (Sales, FAEs, Lines of Businesses, Licensing, etc.) is implemented with outstanding attention that will win the customer’s trust and business over time.

Expand and use the network inside the customers, identify and develop key relationships, gain understanding of the customer’s alternative options, Arm opportunities and decision-making processes and key players while keeping a clear understanding on the business landscape, its trends, and other elements affecting the customer. Identify customer go-to-market strategies, target markets and develop business opportunities while growing ARM’s position and core business.

Flexibility and ability to develop self-directed activity, coordinate a broad and collaborative teamwork with the customer and inside Arm, and:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop lead generation campaigns and promotional activities
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the EDA, IP or semiconductor industry
  • Proven sophisticated skills in customer relationship and account management
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-divisional and multinational environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and impact for the good of ARM’s partners and business.
  • A strong ‘upward’ manager comfortable operating at VP and Executive level, with excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong team worker able to optimize all resources; technical commercial, marketing to achieve the best outcome for the customer and Arm.
  • Strong commercial understanding with outstanding selling and negotiation skills.
  • Confident self-starter that instinctively knows where to spend their time to improve business.
  • Ability to travel out of region from time to time.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of revenue recognition
  • Experience in the Semiconductor, IP and/or EDA industries

Salary Range:

$207,400-$280,600 per year
