Job Overview:
The Arm Automotive and Industrial Solutions team in Munich is looking for a highly motivated software engineering student. Positions are in various teams working on projects across the software stack – from embedded software and firmware to complex application and AI workloads.
The internship duration is approximately 6 months (can be full-time or part-time), starting in 2026.
What could you be doing as a Software Engineering Intern?
- Participating in different aspects of commercial and open-source software development, from product design and implementation to testing and support.
- Working on solutions that will make use of your existing knowledge and skills, whilst also requiring you to learn something new.
- Analysing existing solutions, looking for enhancements/automation, alongside trialing new tools.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.
- Have solid knowledge of C and/or C++ and modern development workflows.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Knowledge of Arm architectures and experience in embedded software development
- Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach.
- Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom – personal projects, hackathons, or internships etc.
