Central Engineering - Machine Learning (CE-ML) delivers technology that enables the next generation of mobile devices, home automation, smart cities, autonomous driving and much more. In close collaboration with other Arm groups, our partners, and our ecosystem we deliver highly performant and efficient ML solutions.
As a Project Manager in the CE-ML group you will join a team of individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and multi-disciplinary talents. You will take accountability for ensuring timely delivery of high-quality hardware and software products.
To achieve this, you will interact and collaborate with various functions across Arm, including engineering and product management.
Responsibilities:
- Empower and drive teams to deliver against commitments
- Plan, schedule, supervise and report on activities across multiple locations to deliver key project performance indicators efficiently
- Work cohesively with adjacent functional groups such as Engineering, Product Management, Legal and Operations
- Work pro-actively to help continually develop and improve our processes and practices
- Be a collaborative member of the operations team
- Maintain an equitable and inclusive environment
Required Skills and Experience :
- Experience leading projects within multi-disciplinary and diverse groups in a hi-tech or highly regulated industry
- Strong communication and networking skills to work well with peers, senior management, project partners and customers with a flair for lateral thinking and problem solving
- A positive, can-do behaviour which is adaptive to change, resilient and eager to accept new challenges within an evolving environment
- Strong organisational & interpersonal skills
- Comfortable influencing, motivating and leading engineering/project teams
- Strong written & spoken English language skills

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Usage of supporting tools commonly used in Arm project management e.g. Jira, Confluence, MSP
- Background in Hardware engineering
- Experience in working with Agile teams
- Familiarity with Hardware and Software Development Lifecycles
- Familiarity with the concepts of Open-Source Software
- Understanding of Product Lifecycles
