Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly capableExperienced Hardware Design Engineerto join our GPU HW team. This role targets candidates with expertise in functional safety architectures, capable of contributing at both microarchitectural and system levels of GPU .
The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of delivering high-performance, power-efficient hardware solutions, along with the ability to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Design engineers are required to understand the elements that contribute to the products’ successful delivery. This includes low-power and high-speed design techniques and the ability to produce designs that are area efficient. Your key responsibilities will include writing micro-architecture specifications, developing the RTL and running various design checks. Additionally, you will work with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Extensive experience of RTL design for complex ASIC products & SoCs using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
- Experience or knowledge in the following areas: Static design checks, Synthesis and timing analysis, Power management techniques
- Develop innovative solutions for performance optimisation, power reduction, and scalability
- Good understanding of the fundamentals of computer architecture and systems and practical experience of working on complex SoCs
- Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g. Tcl Perl, Python etc.)
- Mentor junior design engineers and provide technical leadership within the team
- Engage with stakeholders to align on implementation requirements and deliverables
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge or experience with Functional Safety concepts and standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508). Should have worked on an Automotive IP or SoC.
- Familiarity with verification methodologies (preferably formal verification)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
