Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Technology Manager to help shape what we build and why it matters across our GPU software engineering teams!

As a Technology Manager, you will act as the bridge between business needs and engineering execution, translating high-level product or customer asks into clear, prioritised requirements for engineering teams. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure alignment on what is being built, why it matters, and how it maps to business priorities.

The position sits within the “Trinity” model alongside a Tech Lead and Project Manager, providing strong influence over direction, priorities, and decision-making.

This is a highly collaborative and outward-facing role that requires a strong technical understanding, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management across multiple teams, functions, and regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the engineering roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Translate high-level ideas into clear, actionable requirements for engineering teams
  • Prioritise work across multiple teams and business needs, balancing short-term demands with long-term strategy
  • Partner with Tech Leads and Project Managers to align scope, timelines, and dependencies
  • Communicate priorities, progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly across teams and leadership
  • Find opportunities to improve efficiency and ways of working
  • Ensure teams are working on thehighest-value prioritieswith clear context and alignment

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a Technology Manager, Technical Product Owner, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of software and/or hardware development lifecycles
  • Experience working across engineering, product, and program management teams
  • Proven ability to define and manage technology roadmaps and translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience prioritising across multiple teams and competing demands
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and align others

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in semiconductor, systems, or large-scale software environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
  • Exposure to open-source ecosystems and community engagement
  • Understanding of system design, architecture, and scalability

Salary Range:

£97,300 - £131,700 per year
