This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tax professional to join a globally respected technology leader and help shape the tax function supporting Arm’s future growth.

As a Manager, Tax Advisory, you will play a key role in supporting Arm’s global tax affairs, applying tax law to real business questions and helping the organisation make well-informed, commercially sound decisions. Reporting to the Director, Tax, the role offers broad exposure across Arm’s international operations, close interaction with senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the business and how it creates value.

This role will suit someone who is intellectually curious, commercially minded, and motivated by understanding how a complex global business operates. You will be encouraged to ask questions, explore new areas of tax, and develop practical solutions that support informed business decision-making.

The successful applicant will be collaborative yet comfortable working independently and proactively. They will enjoy researching and analysing complex issues, communicating clearly, and continually building their understanding of tax laws across the multiple jurisdictions in which Arm operates.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic projects, including global tax structuring and transfer pricing.
  • Partner closely with Group Finance, Legal, and business teams to ensure tax considerations are understood and appropriately reflected in business decisions.
  • Provide clear, practical tax advice on a wide range of complex tax and business issues.
  • Provide tax support for M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and post-deal integration.
  • Monitor and interpret tax legislative developments and assess their potential impact on the business.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Typically 3–8 years PQE, with a strong background in international corporate tax.
  • ACA/CTA/CPA qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained in a Big 4 or large professional services firm.
  • Strong technical capability, combined with an ability to apply tax knowledge in a commercial, practical way.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to research unfamiliar areas and form well-reasoned conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including an ability to explain tax matters clearly to non-specialists.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with UK Patent Box and Double Tax Relief
  • Exposure to U.S. tax concepts
  • Previous in-house tax experience within a multinational group.
