Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior AI Data Readiness Specialist to help Arm accelerate the safe and effective use of AI across the business.
Arm is working at the leading edge of internal AI adoption, using advanced AI and data tooling to improve how teams access, understand, and use enterprise knowledge. This role will help make sure priority data is reliable, well governed, and ready to support responsible AI use at scale.
This is a delivery, governance, and change-focused role for someone who enjoys working with people, building trust, and enabling AI adoption through better data readiness.
You will work with data owners and delegates across Arm, IT platform and AI teams, and external AI development partners to assess AI data readiness, shape remediation plans, and embed sustainable ways of working.
In practice, this means independently assessing priority data, identifying gaps, coordinating fixes, presenting recommendations, and helping teams understand why good data readiness matters for AI.
This role is well suited to someone who can bring structure to complex work, communicate clearly, influence across teams, and support people through change.
Responsibilities:
- Independently coordinate AI data readiness activity with data owner teams, including assessments, findings, evidence, and follow-up actions.
- Work with internal business, IT, engineering, platform, and external AI development teams to shape and monitor remediation plans for priority data sources.
- Build engagement with data owner teams, helping them understand the value of AI data readiness and the practical steps needed to improve it.
- Identify readiness gaps across structured and unstructured data, including metadata, tagging, ownership, retention, permissions, evidence, and controls.
- Maintain clear records of data owners, delegated owners, readiness status, remediation actions, evidence, and review cycles.
- Build reporting on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and project stages, highlighting where decisions or action are needed.
- Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates in a clear and practical way, supporting understanding, adoption, and decision-making.
- Support the Data Governance Lead by turning AI governance requirements into practical delivery plans, embedded processes, and measurable improvements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with data governance, data management, data quality, records management, risk, compliance, change delivery, or a related delivery role.
- Understanding of data quality, metadata, tagging, retention, ownership, controls, and evidence management.
- Experience coordinating assessments, tracking actions, maintaining records, and following up with stakeholders.
- Experience working with technical and non-technical teams to turn requirements into practical improvements, communicate recommendations, and support adoption.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience
- Understanding of how AI solutions use metadata, tagging, permissions, source data quality, and context signals.
- Experience working with enterprise AI tools, data platforms, knowledge management systems, collaboration tools, document repositories, or data catalogues.
- Experience preparing readiness reports, governance status updates, dashboards, or control evidence.
In Return:
In return, you’ll help define how the organisation manages and connects its data. Improving quality, metadata, tagging, retention, ownership, and controls, while helping teams understand how their data underpins AI solutions.
