Job Description
We’re looking for a Principal Verification Engineer to shape Arm’s next-generation AI/ML hardware!
The role focuses on neural network accelerators used across mobile, automotive, and data centre platforms, with responsibility for verification strategy, environment development, and execution across complex IP.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve verification strategy for AI/ML hardware IP
- Lead verification across unit, subsystem, and system levels
- Architect scalable environments using SystemVerilog and UVM
- Collaborate with design teams to improve testability and manage risk
- Drive execution to meet coverage and quality goals
- Apply data and analytics to improve debug and coverage closure
- Mentor engineers and share technical expertise
Required Skills and Experience

- Background in RTL verification
- Strong SystemVerilog and UVM knowledge
- Experience verifying complex IP
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Software fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures)
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, or similar)
- Effective collaboration across teams
Additional Experience (not required)
- AI/ML hardware
- C/C++ modelling

- Formal verification
- CI/CD or regression systems
