  • Senior Performance Tools Validation Engineer We are looking for an outstanding software engineer with strong CI and automation expertise to build the validation infrastructure behind Arm's performance methodologies and telemetry tools. You'll help make performance evaluation on Arm platforms repeatable, scalable, and trustworthy on current and next-generation Arm systems.About The TeamWe build Arm's Telemetry solution—a set of open‑source reference tools that demonstrate Arm's performance methodologies across compute subsystems (CPU, interconnects, memory systems, and more). We collaborate with architects across Arm IP groups to turn their methodologies into practical tooling. Our work enables Arm's internal performance teams, partners, and the wider open‑source community. What you'll doBuild and evolve CI infrastructure that validates performance methodologies across cloud, on-prem, and hardware targets.Design controlled, reproducible test environments that help distinguish real regressions from environmental noise when running and profiling targeted workloads.Help build synthetic workloads and targeted microbenchmarks (occasionally in Arm assembly) that help in our validation efforts.Work with architects & analysis teams to understand performance methodologies and embed this knowledge into validation strategies.Partner with IP and silicon teams to ensure that tools and methodologies work well on the next generation of Arm products.Ensure that our testing scales with the ever growing demand for new methodologies, tools, IP and physical designs. How we workNobody checks every box.
