Job Overview:
Arm’s Systems team creates world class IPs and subsystems for a variety of application segments, with a special emphasis on AI use cases, by integrating the latest IP products from Arm and other vendors. These solutions serve a diverse range of market sectors including mobile, server, IoT, automotive, and more.
We are looking for creative and enthusiastic IP Verification Engineers to join the team. For this position, you will bring expertise in verifying and testing complex IP such as Crypto Accelerators, HW DVFS components, PCIe controllers, and interconnect fabrics. You will guarantee all these products function well with each other and with the software to enable our partners to develop outstanding systems.
Responsibilities:
- Your key responsibilities will include writing test plans, defining test methodologies, developing C based software tests, SystemVerilog/Verilog testbenches and tests, and debugging of test failures and issues.
- Working with project management and leads on planning tasks, schedules, and reporting progress.
- Collaborate with engineers from other teams including architecture, design, implementation, modelling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA and board development.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- Proven understanding of digital hardware verification language Verilog/Systemverilog HDL.
- Skilled in one or more of various verification approaches – UVM, formal, power aware verification.
- Experience in SoC verification using Embedded Low-level programming including C/C++ tests and assembly language (preferably ARM).
- Exposure to all stages of verification: requirements collection, creation of verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support.
- Good problem solving and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of IP/SoC Verification Flow and strategy.
- Experience with ARM-based builds and/or ARM System Architectures.
- Clock domain crossing verification.
- Experienced in GLS, DFT/DFD.
- Skilled in UPF Power Aware verification.
- Automation experience with shell programming/scripting (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python etc.).
- Willingness to explore and apply AI based methods to digital verification.
“Preferred” Skills and Experience:
- Exposure to formal verification using JasperGold/VC formal.
- Prior experience in hardware security and cryptographic algorithms.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their applications in verification.
- Knowledge of ARM proprietary tools and environments.

Additional Information

Salary Range:
£73,500
- £99,500
per year
