- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for firmware build, validation, and release (GitLab/Jenkins)
- Automate firmware image generation, signing, packaging, and release workflows
- Collaborate with firmware, platform, and validation teams to debug build, integration, and test issues
- Enable per-patch and nightly CI workflows to improve code quality and early issue detection
- Integrate and manage static analysis and compliance tools (e.g., Coverity, Black Duck)
- Support release engineering activities, including versioning, tagging, artifact management, and partner delivery
- Improve developer productivity by enhancing tooling, automation, and documentation
- Drive standardization and scalability across multiple SoC programs and customer releases
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Build & Release / Embedded Software environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting and automation
- Experience with embedded firmware components and platform software stack
- Solid understanding of C/C++ build systems (Make, CMake) and Linux environments
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Experience in release management, versioning, and artifact handling
- Understanding of SoC architecture
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across build and integration issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills across multi-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with firmware signing, secure boot, or image generation workflows
- Familiarity with Yocto/OpenEmbedded or embedded Linux build systems
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI infrastructure
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with test automation frameworks and validation pipelines
