We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will be developing and deploying innovative dashboards and automation to support the entire cloud, compute & storage infrastructure for all the SOC design team across Solutions Engineering. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate & collaborate with peers in their own team as well as with their counterparts in design engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Development of automation, dashboards and cloud based solutions for effective and efficient management of design infrastructure
- Partnership & communication with peers for a broader collaboration
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering from a reputable institute
- 4-8 years of shown experience.
- Deep expertise with IBM Platform LSF, including job lifecycle automation, distributed workload orchestration, resource allocation policies, and cluster configuration.
- Ability to develop automation that communicates with LSF (bsub, bjobs, lsload, bacct, etc.) and parse scheduling logs for insights.
- Experience improving cluster efficiency through job pattern analysis, fair-share tuning, and capacity modeling
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience integrating LSF with HPC environments, cloud bursting (AWS ParallelCluster / custom HPC), and hybrid scheduling strategies.
- Knowledge of LSF event daemons, job arrays, resource reservation, and multi-cluster configurations
