Responsibilities:
Solution engineering team’s mission is to enable our partners by delivering secure, performant and reliable hardware and software that are easy to use. System Verification engineers in this group are responsible for driving verification specifications & methodology and deliver on the verification of SoC for the next generation of compute solution. Working in a highly focused group within Arm's Solutions Engineering Systems Development team, where the candidate will help verify our next generation compute solutions using innovative technologies, methodologies and tools. Key responsibilities will include leading the verification plan, test plan, debug methodology, developing and implementing the test content, finding bugs, and running various verification checks for Arm IP and high-speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR, USB, etc.
- Expertise in Arm Architecture, Arm core and system IP.
- Expected to own and lead to enhance the verification methodologies used by the team.
- Will guide other members of the team as needed to enable the successful completion of project activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 to 10 Years of experience
- Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS/MSc) in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of Verification test content using C, C++ etc.
- Expertise in Arm Architecture, Arm core and Arm system IP (SMMU/GIC/DMS etc.).
- Exposure to producing verification specifications and documentation describing sophisticated designs
- Ability to work under time-scale pressure and meet ambitious targets without compromising on quality
- Understanding of the fundamentals of computer architecture and systems
- Practical experience of working on Processor based system designs
- Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g. Tcl Perl, Python etc.)
- Expected to own verification and compliance testing for select components of a modern system.
“Nice To Have” skills and experience:
- Demonstrated understanding of CPU, GPU, Peripheral IP (PCI/CXL/USB/UFS/ETH) subsystem in SoC environment and proven expertise in owning verification requirements and plan.
- Knowledge of microarchitecture and experience with RTL debugging tools and methodologies is a plus.
- Hands on Experience in verification of multiple sub systems for ASICs/ SoCs in system environment (Emulation, FPGA, FVP), owning all phases of verification (Test development, Execution and Debug) for owned sub systems.
- Understanding of SoC security aspects
