Job Overview:
- This is an exciting time to be joining our team in Procurement Operations! As a Procurement Associate, you will help ensure continuity of procurement operations, provide practical solutions to operational challenges, and participate in improvement initiatives.
- The role supports delivery and enablement across sourcing, contracting, and procurement operations. The role acts as an advisor and supports business customers, suppliers, and colleagues within the global procurement function.
Responsibilities:
- Source-to-Contract (S2C) support, including development and management of sourcing events ("RFx"), supplier commercial engagement, and contracting activities.
- Provide operations support, helpdesk services, and assist with handling and resolving inbound issues and support requests in a timely manner.
- Support transactional purchasing and promote preferred buying channels in line with agreed service levels, including validation of purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, approvals, and compliance with procurement policy.
- Support supplier registration, coordinating activities end-to-end and maintaining supplier records and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational and technical issues.
- Support in the preparation of metrics and data analysis used to track process performance and operational health.
- Maintain standard operating procedures, process documents, and procurement intranet pages.
Required Skills andExperience :
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance, Business, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of work experience, preferably supporting sourcing and contracting processes.
- Hands-on experience with procurement tools and business applications, including SAP Ariba, SAP S4 HANA, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint or similar case management tools.
- Experience in sourcing, including preparation of sourcing event documents, supplier negotiations, and commercial and contractual terms used in supplier contracts.
- Willingness to work in a shift model to support global time zones (US, UK, Europe, and APAC).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Enjoys working in a team environment.
“Nice To Have” Skills andExperience :
- Prior experience in a technology company supporting Source-to-Pay business processes.
- Awareness of, or experience with P2P processes and collaborating closely with Accounts Payable.
- Willingness to learn and embrace new procurement technologies, including the deployment of bots to automate procurement processes.
