Job Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Security Architect with deep experience working in complex technology environments to shape how Arm secures its global workforce and systems. Reporting directly into the director of enterprise security architecture, this role will be instrumental in our next phase of maturity and will support teams across Arm in delivering robust, scalable and resilient security architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Architect for resilience: Design enterprise-level security architectures that scale with business growth and evolving threats.
- Enable secure innovation: Collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to integrate security seamlessly into design and delivery.
- Lead with insight: Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews to strengthen enterprise defences.
- Drive alignment: Translate business goals into secure design standards, frameworks, and technology roadmaps.
- Build capability: Mentor architects and engineers to uplift security awareness, expertise, and accountability across the organization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 7+ years of practical experience in designing and implementing security architecture leading within a large-scale, complex environments.
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), network infrastructure, data protection, and zero-trust principles.
- Familiarity with security and architecture standards & frameworks such as NIST, SOC2, MITRE ATT&CK, SABSA, TOGAF, Zero Trust etc.
- Strong technical foundation in endpoints, network, application, and infrastructure security, with hands-on understanding of DevSecOps and automation.
- Lead with passion and empathy by supporting individuals and the wider team.
- Excellent communicator who can simplify complexity, influence decisions, and align technology strategy with business outcomes.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related technical subject area!
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCNP Security) and familiarity with AI/ML applications in security.
- Experience SIEM, security integration and security automation!
