Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-potential finance professional to join our OTC- Accounts Receivable (AR) team. This role offers exposure to global finance operations, revenue accounting, forecasting, audit processes, SOX documentation, management reporting and data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate shall be meticulous, analytically strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly and quarterly close activities, including reporting and variance analysis
- Prepare and maintain AR reports and dashboards for management review
- Quarterly and yearly forecast modeling.
- Provide support for internal and external audits, including SOX/SEC compliance activities
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities in AR metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Ops, Finance, IT) on operational improvements and projects
- Contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives within AR
- Support documentation and enhancement of internal controls and standard operating procedures
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance)
- 0–3 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong fundamentals encouraged)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) is a plus
- Basic understanding of SOX compliance frameworks
- Awareness or curiosity about AI tools and their application in finance is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and business partnering skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
