Job Description

Job Overview:

Based in our Bengaluru office on a 16x5 shift pattern with on call on a rota basis.

Focused initially on specialist end user support and resolution of operational issues evolving, as part of a dev ops structure, to design, develop, projects and maintaining service.

Engaging in a variety of software projects ranging from SaaS platforms to custom applications, applying your technical skills to develop solutions, integrate systems and enhance functionality,

This role works closely with technical specialists and team leaders to develop Mulesoft solutions, services, and deliver exceptional support levels.

Responsibilities:

Provide L2 and L3 support and solve issues with Mulesoft live services.

Gather requirements, design, develop, test, or implement Mulesoft products and services in line with business requirements.

Required Skills and Experience :

With at least a B.Tech or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of overall experience in a similar role within a global organisation of which a minimum of 1 year is working with Mulesoft.

Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development, database design, cloud computing, and an understanding of software architecture principles are expected.

COMPETENCIES

Technical

  • Track record of operational support, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management aligned with ITIL.
  • Mule ESB and Anypoint Studio and deep understanding of MuleSoft’s API-led connectivity approach and Anypoint Platform.
  • CloudHub! and on-premises solutions; Knowledge of DataWeave! language for data transformation. Familiarity with connectors, scopes, routers, flows, and error handling.
  • Designing, developing, and running RESTful and SOAP APIs. Understanding of API security standards and protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML. Knowledge of API modelling languages like RAML or Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Enterprise integration patterns and architectures (like SOA, EDA, microservices).
  • Message queuing services and protocols (e.g., JMS, AMQP, Kafka).
  • Batch processing and real-time integration solutions.
  • Java (e.g. Springboot framework, Maven), JavaScript (Node.js, JSON).
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (Azure DevOps / Git / GitFlow, Jenkins, Selenium, JMeter / Blaze Meter).
  • Adhere to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB); Knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes.

 Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, New Relic); Knowledge of logging and analytics platforms (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk).

Understanding of cloud services and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS); Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform); Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

MuleSoft Certified Developer; Other IT certifications in relevant areas.

Experienced with development practices such as Waterfall, Agile.

Experienced working in a global, diverse and multicultural environment.
