Job Description

Job Overview:

Reporting into the EUC Team Lead this role is accountable the making our core applications available on both Windows and Mac. The role is responsible for the overall delivery of all Apps packaging for our End User Devices within Arm.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the EUC Service Manager and Windows Specialist ensures Arms Windows software deployments are aligned to Arms security policies and procedures
  • You will be accountable for the day to day run and management of the Windows and Mac device Software deployment
  • Creation of custom install packages, to deploy, update and remove software within Arms Windows and Mobile estate
  • Deployment of Windows security and feature updates as per agreed SLAs
  • Support the Windows Specialists with major and minor version updates
  • Supporting the Service desk on incident and requests associated with software updates
  • Act as a technical specialist in all Software deployment issues at Arm
  • Create and Maintain Knowledge articles for Technical Teams and End Users to support the running of the platform
  • Ensure all Service NOW tickets assigned to them are proactively works on and updated as per the Arm Ticket Management Standard

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience Range of 3 to 5 years, and we are looking for Immediate or serving Notice period candidates 
  • Ability to create SCCM and Intune based packages for the deployment of new and updating existing software deployment
  • Ability to slip stream Windows and Office 365 packages into existing builds and images
  • Experience in converting business requirements into technical configurations to support the deployment of software
  • Experience of working across both Microsoft SCCM and Intune platforms
  • Creation on custom reports to support Software/Update compliance across SCCM and Intune

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  1. Good experience of  "Flexera Adminstudio enterprise suite" for packaging.
  2. Experience in packaging and repackaging of MSI, MSIX and APPv etc.
  3. Good knowledge in scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell and bash.
  4. Experience in PSAppDeployToolkit for app deployment.
  5. Experience in WoA (Windows on Arm) will be an added advantage (Optional).
  6. Good packaging experience for operating systems Windows 10/11.
