Senior Software Engineer - IP Delivery Fullstack

Job Overview:

This role is based 100% in Bengaluru in India. Occasional international travel may be required for company events, special team meetings and/or workshops. There is also a requirement for on-call.

We are looking for a full stack developer to take ownership for design, development, support and maintenance of new features on our software platform. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in frontend, backend and integrating with other services.

You will have a strong IT background with a proven track record in complex software projects. You will hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 6 years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation.

Responsibilities:

Your core responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Lead the full development cycle of Arm's applications, platforms and services in line with business requirements
• Continuous service improvement
• Maintaining service levels and performance, including responding to and resolving incidents

Required skills and experience

Solid grasp of the below, gained from historical experience as a full stack engineer, including:

• Development experience in Python
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Containerisation and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud platforms using services such as Lambda, Function Apps, S3, AKS, EKS
• Developing user interfaces using React

Leadership & people skills

• Highly proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Work closely with, and provide feedback to the team Technical Manager on roadmaps and software lifecycle
• Be comfortable raising issues and concerns - there's nothing wrong with saying "I don't know"!

"Nice to have" skills and experience

It would be helpful if you also have knowledge of some of the following:

• Java and Spring Framework
• Continuous integration/Continuous deployment, e.g. Azure DevOps/Jenkins/TeamCity
• JavaScript or Node.js
• RESTful API development including RAML and Swagger
• Jira
• SQL and NoSQL databases, e.g. MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB
• Version. control using Git
