Job Description:
The Solutions Engineering (SE) team designs system-on-chip solutions across a range of applications using the latest Arm IP technologies—and also contributes to developing selected IPs. We’re looking for curious, motivated team members who enjoy collaborating to deliver high-quality silicon. This role is ideal for a design verification engineer with a great foundation of experience who values thoughtful problem-solving and collaboration!
Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a hands-on Design Verification Engineer to contribute to verification planning and execution for SoC/ASIC designs, working with Arm IP and architectures as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand IP specifications to verify RTL
- Create and document verification plans
- Develop and maintain testbenches and verification environments
- Implement and run test cases, analyze coverage, and ensure completeness
- Debug issues, collaborate with design teams, and support regressions and documentation
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2years of strong experience building verification environments and testbenches
- Proficiency in ARM assembly (preferred), C/C++, SystemVerilog, and scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc.)
- Experience with verification methodologies like OVM/UVM.
- Experience with functional, code, and toggle coverage at subsystem and SoC levels
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- High-level understanding of how timestamp and time-distribution mechanisms work in SoCs, and how they are used for debugging, performance analysis, and system-wide event correlation.
- Strong grasp of formal verification methodology.
- In depth understanding of computer architecture fundamentals.
- Strong documentation, planning, and multi-discipline coordination skills.
