- Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and automation for data-intensive systems.
- Drive operational excellence through CI/CD, observability, and proactive performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and architects to evolve the data platform’s capabilities.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and approaches to improve developer experience and platform capabilities.
- Contribute to a supportive environment where knowledge sharing and mentoring are part of everyday work.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Extensive experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and operational support for production systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and orchestration environments (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc).
- Solid understanding of networking and security.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc).
- Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
“Nice To Have”:
- Strong software architecture background — able to build systems for reliability, observability, and scalability.
- Exposure to data engineering concepts (Data pipelines, ETL, etc)
- Previous experience in platform or SRE teams supporting data-intensive or distributed systems.
In Return:
We offer a hybrid approach to home and office working to provide an adaptable experience for all employees. We expect some working time to be spent in office, to promote a strong collaborative environment with good team integration but are accommodating to different home working requirements.
