Job Overview:
This is a customer facing role focused on supporting our automotive related software and ecosystem solutions for automotive applications. You will be part of a small sized team, providing technical assistance to our partners through support case work, training material as well as contributing towards examples and small pieces of documentation. There is great potential for innovation and career progression in this role as new technologies and Arm ambitions emerge.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for our partners with firmware and software related problems on their Arm-based systems
- Create and deliver (mostly remote) customer training material
- Test engineering deliverables and provide feedback
- Assist with replicating customer issues and advocating for fixes inside the product team
- Write blogs, knowledge articles to educate customers, as well as review technical documentation
- Mentor junior team members
- Travel occasionally to Arm sites and partner locations
Required Skills and Experience :
- 10+ years in firmware/software development
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Deep understanding of SoC architecture, especially for automotive systems
- Experience in debugging from firmware to OS/application layers (Linux, RTOS)
- Familiarity with functional safety processes (FuSa)
- Solid grasp of Arm processor architecture
- Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work across cultures and collaborate with colleagues focused on different technologies
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Automotive software experience (UEFI/EDK2, U-Boot, Linux drivers)
- System bring-up and JTAG debugging expertise
- Good background of system performance analysis
- Experience with RTL simulation tools and software development tools
- Familiarity with SOAFEE, Yocto.

Salary Range:
