We are looking for a motivated engineer to join the Arm Cloud AI Business Unit's Performance and Solutions Team. Our high growth/demand group is involved in analyzing and benchmarking Infrastructure workload performance. We act a bridge between customers and internal engineering teams. In this role, the engineer will analyze workload performance bottlenecks, and develop mechanisms to aid performance tuning.
What you could be doing as a Performance Graduate?
You will be working on Infrastructure workloads, developing knowledge of performance characteristics and working to augment performance analysis. Work will include, but not limited to:
- Developing tooling and visualizations to quickly compare various workloads, and identify what make workloads unique.
- Deep dive into performance characteristics of key workloads spanning various industry use cases.
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold (or are on track to hold) a degree or equivalent experience by September 2026. This can be a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Coursework in computer architecture/microarchitecture.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming.
- Experience using distributed source control, e.g. Git and comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Experience in developing and applying data analysis solutions with industry standard benchmarks.
- Knowledge and passion for learning about industry standard workload performance and optimization.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Academic projects or relevant industry expertise in Infrastructure workload benchmarking
- Understanding of emerging workloads and areas of compute, including AI.
- Understanding of workload performance analysis, including both SW and HW stacks.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Linux Perf Tools, PMU and hotspot analysis, Arm CoreSight, Arm SPE, eBPF, DynamoRIO, Ansible, Terraform.

Salary Range:
