The candidate will join the Arm System IP team working with logic design and architecture team to develop new innovative design methodology, such as rendering scalable RTL, and developing testbench to speed up simulation.
In addition, we would expect our engineers to fully apply resourcefulness and soft skills to collaborate with peer teams like implementation, design, performance, verification, and project management.
What you could be doing as a Design RTL IP Tooling Graduate?
As a new graduate on our design team, you would be working closely with both our design and tooling engineers to develop a robust methodology used at scale across the entire interconnect product portfolio.
- Develop custom solutions to render RTL that aligns with our architecture requirements
- Implement new methodologies and tooling alongside industry standard EDA and design tools
- Create innovative solutions to drive efficiency, automation and flexibility for our design team
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold (or are on track to hold) a degree or equivalent experience by August 2026. This can be a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have meaningful experience.
- Knowledge of hardware design and design principles
- Deep interest in computer architecture as demonstrated by academic or research projects
- Understanding of modern EDA tools and logic design fundamentals
- Demonstrated skills in quality coding, scripting, software development
- Proficient with scripting languages like Python, Perl, Ruby, etc. and competence with Unix/Linux, shells, and Makefiles
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as AMBA CHI or equivalent
- Coursework/project experience in complex VLSI design through PPA optimization cycle for multiple design cycles
- Knowledge of topics including transaction ordering, virtualization, MMUs, cache coherence
- Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills

Salary Range:
