Senior Verification Engineer – SoC / Subsystem Verification (3–12 Years)
Job Summary :
We are looking for highly motivated Verification Engineers with 3–12 years of experience in IP, Subsystem, and SoC Verification for complex Arm-based SoCs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CPU/PCIE/Security/DDR/Subsystem/SoC verification, experience with modern verification methodologies, and a solid understanding of SoC architecture, integration, performance, coherency, memory systems, and power management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification strategies for IP, Subsystem, and SoC-level designs.
- Architect, develop, and maintain reusable SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments and components.
- Verify complex SoC functionality including: CPU/PCIE/Security/DDR subsystem/SoC verification, Cache Coherency and CHI-based interconnect verification and SoC scenario and performance verification
- Create verification plans, test methodologies, test cases, and coverage closure strategies.
- Develop embedded software tests using C/C++ and Assembly (preferably Arm).
- Drive functional, code, toggle, assertion, and formal coverage closure.
- Perform power-aware verification using UPF and validate complex power architectures.
- Debug RTL, testbench, and silicon-related issues while collaborating closely with Architecture, Design, Modeling, Performance, Validation, FPGA, and Software teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–12 years of experience in IP, Subsystem, or SoC Verification.
- Strong knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and verification methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in developing SV/UVM verification environments.
- Good understanding of: Arm-based CPU architectures and Arm System Architecture, SoC integration and verification flows, Memory hierarchy, coherency protocols, and interconnects and Interrupt architecture and system-level verification concepts
- Experience writing embedded software tests using C/C++ and Arm Assembly.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with: Functional, Code, Toggle, and Assertion coverage closure, UPF Power-Aware Verification
- Automation and scripting experience using Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell scripting.
- Exposure to all stages of verification: Requirements analysis, Verification planning, Testbench development, Test creation, Coverage closure, Documentation and support
