We are looking for an experienced Senior Information Developer -Technical Writer to join our Tech Comms Solutions team. This role supports concurrent releases of complex silicon IP and system-level platforms, enabling engineers and partners to integrate, configure, and deploy SoC solutions. You will be handling high-quality documentation for hardware and low-level software in ground-breaking System-on-Chip (SoC) designs!

Job Overview:

We produce developer-focused documentation for hardware-blocks, RTL interfaces, firmware, build systems, and integration workflows. We work closely with engineering teams to gather technical knowledge and deliver content supporting silicon bring-up, firmware development, and system integration.

Your work will directly contribute to successful tape-outs, validation, and customer enablement!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain documentation for SoC-level hardware and software components, including configuration descriptions, register maps, and build instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs to extract and validate technical information.
  • Define, improve, and implement documentation standards, review processes, content structures, terminology, and reuse models for scalable documentation.
  • Use structured authoring tools and version control systems to create and maintain modular, source-driven documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer/Information Developer, with demonstrated ability to handle complex documentation across multiple projects and release cycles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specs and design documents.
  • Passion for learning about new technologies and standards, and adapting to change.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional engineering environments.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience documenting low-level software and/or hardware in a SoC or semiconductor environment, non-UI software such as firmware, board support packages (BSP), boot flows, and system configuration.
  • Understanding of hardware design principles, RTL/IP integration, chip-level validation, bring-up workflows, FPGA prototyping platforms, or embedded software development.
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in a related area. For example: Computer science, Physics, or Maths or English, Linguistics, or Law
