We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer in the infrastructure solutions software team in our CE-SW group. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for leading and developing a local engineering team. The focus will be on driving the validation and productisation of our infrastructure platforms, with strong collaboration across software engineering, quality, test and release functions.

Responsibilities:
You will:
- Lead and develop a team of software engineers at your site, providing technical direction, coaching and career development while remaining hands-on in solving complex engineering challenges.
- Drive system validation and productisation for Infrastructure System Solutions, establishing effective validation plans, quality criteria and approaches to product readiness.
- Advance scalable test infrastructure, CI, regression capabilities and quality metrics to improve coverage, efficiency and confidence throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate across Arm locations and engineering teams to manage dependencies, resolve complex system-level issues and drive effective execution across pre-silicon and silicon environments.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Strong experience in complex system software, with a technical background in SoC, firmware, platform software or system-level validation across pre-silicon and/or silicon environments.
- Proven experience leading and developing software engineers, combining line management with strong hands-on technical leadership.
- Strong knowledge of software quality, validation methodologies, automated testing, CI and product readiness for complex systems.
- Excellent technical judgement, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams and geographical locations.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge of server-class SoCs, including RAS, power management, PCI Express (PCIe), Compute Express Link (CXL), memory and virtualization.
- Familiarity with the Linux kernel, Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A), UEFI EDK II, OpenBMC or Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM).
- Experience with automated system validation, hardware test environments, server farms or continuous integration infrastructure.

Salary Range:
UK: £126,200-£170,800
France: €101,700-€131,700
