Arm Partner Enablement group in Budapest, Hungary is looking for a dedicated intern into its Hardware Applications Engineering team for 6 months fix-term duration. This position offers an excellent mix of broad technical development, both hardware and software with the opportunity to learn the job of a hardware applications engineer, which could lead to a permanent role after graduation.
Whatyou could be doing as a Hardware Applications Engineer Intern?
- Develop reference applications on cutting-edge designs for high-performance IoT market.
- Building RTL simulation test benches to be used to replicate partner’s issues.
- Assisting in fault finding problems with customer designs based on ARM IP.
- Reviewing technical documentation for hardware IP deliverables and providing improvement recommendations to the technical authors.
- Assisting in testing hardware IP deliverables and providing feedback to design teams prior to release to customers.
We are looking for individuals who:
You will need to be studying towards a MSc degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other relevant subject. Other degree types may be considered with relevant experience.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Experience in C or C++ programming language, version tracking and build systems.
- Good understanding of digital design principles and computer architecture.
- Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom – personal projects, hackathons, or internships etc.
- Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach.
- Adaptability and willing to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems.
- Good English skills, both written and verbal.
- Verilog/VHDL, FPGA and SystemVerilog is a huge plus!
