Job Overview:
Arm has formed a new group to develop outstanding silicon demonstrators based on Arm’s IP compute sub-system solutions and addressing markets such as premium mobile, infrastructure and automotive. Using the latest nodes, e.g. 3nm today, and applying the latest SoC 2.5D and 3D technology, Arm’s ambition is to demonstrate industry outstanding performance by architecting, designing, implementing, and fabricating innovative silicon chips
- Owning full chip and block level constraints development and timing closure ownership throughout the entire project cycle
- Work closely with various multi-functional teams on resolving complex timing issues for major building blocks of complex SoCs
- Timing/Functional ECO generation at different logical hierarchical level and handshaking with team for ECO implementation
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will involve developing and owning full chip and block level timing constraints development and timing closure.
- Should able to handle EDA tools for constraints generation and validation
- Develop and maintain methodology and flows related to timing constraints generation/verification and closure is a key criterion for both Func and Test mode
- ECO generation at both block and top level, handshaking with team for timing/functional ECO implementation
- Understand and improve existing methodologies and flows!
Required Skills and Experience :
- Experience in developing and validating timing constraints for complete soc and also for blocks
- Knowledge of timing corners/modes, process variations and signal integrity related issues
- Work experience on timing closure for different power domain complex blocks
- Experience in collaborating across silicon engineering groups in your organization as well as with EDA vendors
- Work experience of 8+ years in Synthesis and Timing constraints
- Must have worked on timing closures on 5nm or 3nm technologies
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Bachelors in Electronics Engineering
- Coding skills in Per/Python or TCL or an equivalent language
- Strong presentation skills
