Our Neoverse cores are leading a technology disruption! We need a Senior Firmware Enablement Engineer to work with the Arm Central Engineering – Software/Firmware partners and support the growing demand for Neoverse cores in the Cloud and Datacenter. You will be in an individual contributor role to engage and collaborate with internal and external partners to enable and support Arm Infrastructure hardware software ecosystem. Responsibilities:
- Enable ARM SOC firmware and bring up various reference and ODM platforms.
- Debug and resolve firmware issues during the bring up and development phase.
- Support issues on ARM SOC and UEFI firmware on reference design.
- Develop and implement detailed test plans for firmware enablement.
- Maintain scalability and deployment of firmware validation tests for OCP compliant reference boards.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in firmware development and hardware testing tools and methodologies.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 5+ years of experience with SOC pre-silicon & post-silicon performance analysis
- Deep understanding of general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including processor pipelines, caches, memory hierarchy, & also system component interdependencies including memory and I/O systems
- Experience understanding workload performance bottlenecks across HW and SW stack
- Obtained a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong programming experience in C, C++ and scripting & comfortable with Linux and Linux tools
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge of the Arm SystemReady certification program
- Experience with Arm system architecture specifications, such as the Base System Architecture (BSA), the Server Base System Architecture (SBSA), and the Server Base Manageability Requirements (SBMR)
- Familiarity with industry standards such as UEFI, DMTF, OCP, OPI, CXL, & UCIe
- Familiarity with ARM SOC firmware such as SCP, LCP, MCP and TF-A

Salary Range:
