Arm is seeking a Developer Marketing Specialist, Editorial & Community Programs to join our Developer Marketing team. This role offers an opportunity to shape how developers engage with Arm’s technologies by building the editorial and community engine that ensures our developer narratives are consistent, credible, and delivered at the right time and place. The ideal candidate will bring strong editorial operations and program management skills, experience collaborating across teams, and a passion for helping developers succeed through clear, authentic communication.
Reporting to the Director of Developer Strategy – Dev Marketing, this role will lead the editorial roadmap for Arm’s developer content, run the Call for Submissions (CFP) process to secure speaking opportunities at major AI and software conferences, and strengthen Arm’s presence in developer forums and communities. The successful candidate will ensure our content programs are well-organized, developer-first, and aligned to Arm’s strategic narratives across AI, software, and semiconductor ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Editorial Operations: Build and manage the editorial calendar and roadmap for developer content, ensuring alignment with Arm’s strategic narratives and product priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers, product managers, strategists, and marketing teams to streamline content contributions and maintain consistency across channels.
- CFP Program Management: Lead the Call for Submissions (CFP) process, tracking opportunities across major developer and AI conferences and coordinating internal teams.
- Community Engagement: Define and direct developer-authentic content and its placement across channels (e.g. Reddit, Stack Overflow, Discord, HackerNews), ensuring the right mix of topics, tone, and formats while partnering with community managers and evangelists.
- Performance & Reporting: Track and report on content performance, CFP outcomes, and community engagement, providing insights that refine strategy.
Required Skills and Experience
- Editorial Operations & Program Management: Consistent track record running content calendars, workflows, and cross-functional projects.
- Community Engagement: Familiarity with developer forums, social platforms, and online communities.
- Content Quality Management: Skilled at reviewing technical content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with developer needs (not necessarily as the author.
- Domain Awareness: Understanding of AI/ML and modern software development ecosystems, including mobile, cloud, gaming, and IoT.
- Technical Fluency: Comfortable engaging with engineering teams and developer topics, with the ability to understand technical concepts and ask the right questions.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Conference Submissions: Experience coordinating CFP programs for industry conferences.
- Developer Advocacy: Background in developer relations, technical writing, or community building.
- Analytics: Familiarity with measuring content performance and engagement metrics.
- Public Speaking Support: Experience helping speakers prepare for conference talks, panels, or workshops.

Salary Range:
