We are looking for a Front-End CAD Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help coordinate and improve the workflows and tools used in front-end semiconductor design.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, CAD, and program coordination, supporting teams that develop and maintain EDA tool environments for synthesis, verification, and design automation.
You’ll work closely with CAD engineers, design teams, and tool vendors to ensure that projects stay organized, documentation is clear, and technical updates are delivered smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Program Coordination
- Plan and track CAD-related projects, including timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Support communication between engineering and CAD teams to align on goals and progress.
- Maintain project trackers, summaries, and meeting notes.
- Identify risks or blockers early and help teams adjust schedules when needed.
- Engage with activities related to partner alignment, SoW creation & tool evaluation alignment
Cross-Team Communication
- Liaise with front-end design and verification teams to collect feedback on tools and flows.
- Work with IT and license teams to support compute, storage, and licensing needs.
- Be the point of contact between frontend, implementation and various technical councils to track and communicate progress
Documentation and Reporting
- Keep technical documentation and process notes up to date.
- Summarize project metrics, progress, and lessons learned for internal reports.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Education: B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: About 5 years working in a semiconductor CAD, EDA support, or design enablement role.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiar with RTL design flows (synthesis, simulation, linting, formal, CDC).
- Experience using tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Genus, SpyGlass, or Siemens Questa.
- Comfortable with scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl, or shell).
- Basic understanding of version control (Git, Perforce) and build systems.
- Other Skills:
- Organized and methodical, with clear written and verbal communication.
- Able to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
- Collaborative and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Experience with SoC-scale CAD environments or CI/CD automation.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tracking tools.
- Understanding of Linux systems and compute infrastructure for EDA tools.
- Previous experience supporting design teams as a project coordinator or TPM.

Salary Range:
