Job Overview:

Are you passionate about helping developers build new kinds of user experience on the very latest AI hardware platforms? In this role you will lead the outreach to IoT developers and ML experts, helping them unlock the potential of AI on Edge devices. We're looking for someone from an engineering background who enjoys collaborating with customers and partners, with good experience in AI/ML application development, developer outreach and developer education. You'll work as part of an international team, helping to create software and tools for some truly game-changing new products!

Arm has revolutionised multiple industries and is now defining the future of AI on edge computing. The IoT Line of Business is rapidly moving inference from being a cloud centric compute, to a distributed local computing experience with all the benefits of reduced latency, privacy and cost this change will deliver.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the outreach to IoT and AI/ML developers across a range of market segments
  • Build a view of developer needs, and help communicate this to Arm product teams - defining the requirements for our future tools and software
  • Engage with developer communities and open-source projects to help them unlock the potential of Arm's latest AI/ML devices
  • Collaborate with reference application developers to optimise their workloads for our products
  • Build and provide training material for developers to jump-start their projects on Arm
  • Contribute as part of a broader product team, defining the software and ecosystem for a new class of Edge AI devices

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Strong ML/AI skills and an understanding of model development, quantization deployment and acceleration
  • Great Python development skills, matched with a strong understanding of low-level programming languages like C, C++ or Rust
  • Experience working in the IoT or Embedded space
  • A history of developer engagement or participation in an active open-source development community
  • A curious mind and an interest in continuous learning

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Great presentation skills, and the ability to communicate to software developers
  • An understanding of the latest trends in AI/ML research and development
  • A background in developer training
  • Deep expertise in one of the popular ML frameworks such as PyTorch/ExecuTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, ONNX PaddlePaddle
  • A desire to growing into more commercial and product focused roles over time
