Job Overview

The project manager will be responsible for leading project teams in the development of System IP, CPU, DMC, Interconnect, MMU, GIC, SoC, GPU, PHY products addressing various market segment needs. Working closely with the Product Manager, Technical Lead and engineering teams, the project manager will be able to lead engineering projects from conception to final delivery to ensure quality, on-spec, and timely delivery of products!

Responsibilities:

The candidate should have a solid track record of project management across all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle. Responsibilities include effective communication, planning, scheduling, tracking/monitoring, resource allocation, budget management, issue/risk management, change management, management of dependencies, and delivering high quality products to committed schedules! This role requires a minimal level of travel to work across Arm and with Arm Partners.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of microelectronics, intellectual property development flow and integration.
  • Experience within the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with a range of hardware and Soft IP development lifecycle methods (e.g., waterfall, iterative)
  • Demonstrated ability in building plans from a high level to a detailed schedule
  • Determine how best to deal with uncertainty and to generate effective metrics for tracking

'Nice to Have' Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of driving projects in a constantly evolving development environment
  • Ability to lead team members through personal leadership and clear project goals
  • Ability to communicate with highly skilled engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Pro-active and pragmatic with regards to problem-solving
  • Formal project management qualification (e.g. PMP)
  • Familiar with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence
  • Professional, with strong attention to detail
  • A university degree (or equivalent) in either Engineering or Computer Science is desired, although other degrees would be considered if there is confirmed experience.
