Job Overview:
Arm has a position open for a Support Specialist - Digital Platform Full Stack to become part of our Business Application Operations – Digital Platform Operations Team.
The team is responsible for supporting, maintaining and continuously improving Arm’s business-critical digital platforms and web applications. This role combines application operations, cloud Operations and application Enhancements.
You will collaborate directly with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Product and third-party support teams to maintain platform availability, resolve production issues, support releases and drive continuous improvement. Based in our Bengaluru office on a 16x5 (12 PM - 9 PM & 5 PM - 2 AM) shift pattern on rotational basis
Qualification: Engineering from Computer Science or related fields with 3 - 6 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for business-critical digital platforms, websites and applications, managing incidents, service demands, and problem resolution.
- Resolve and tackle issues across applications, APIs, AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure, AKS/Kubernetes, networking, integrations and application configuration.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, rollback activities, Terraform-based infrastructure changes, secrets and certificate lifecycle activities.
- Deliver small to medium application improvements and bug fixes using Next.js, Angular/AngularJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Participate in Major Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis and continuous activities to keep platform reliable and reduce recurring issues.
- Maintain operational documentation and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve sophisticated issues.
Required Abilities and Background:
- Experience in Application Support, Cloud Operations, Enhancements, DevOps or Software Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, AKS, Kubernetes/K8s and containerised applications.
- Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, automated delivery workflows, and production deployments.
- Good knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes, including Incident, Request, Problem, change and handling adjustments in systems and workflows.
- Demonstrable experience in developing with the Next.js framework, Angular or AngularJS, and JavaScript or TypeScript, along with REST APIs
- Strong capability to fix problems, root-cause-analysis, communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to balance operational support and software improvements.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services beyond AKS.
- Experience with .NET, Node.js, PHP or similar enterprise technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore.
- Experience with Akamai or similar CDN/WAF technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch or Azure Monitor.
- Experience with identity and access management integrations.
- Understanding of application security, vulnerability remediation, critical information and certificate management.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable practical field.
