Senior DevSecOps Automation Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Automation Engineer who have expertise in Software Development, DevOps, Cloud, Security and Testing.

This role is based 100% in Bengaluru, India. Occasional international travel may be required for company events, special team meetings and/or workshops. There is also a requirement for on-call.

Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• You will work in the DevSecOps & Automation COE team building End-to-End automation solutions that supports the Enterprise IT standing teams.
• Supporting in design, build and maintenance of build, release and deployment pipelines on various CI/CD tools.
• Supporting teams in setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure in Azure, AWS and GCP
• Enabling various tools like Uptrends, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace etc for teams across Arm for application and infrastructure monitoring
• Maintaining a Centralised Automation Framework using Web test automation tools and API testing libraries.
• As part of the COE team, you will be drafting and implementing various industry standards across various teams

Required Skills and Experience :

Strong IT background with a consistent track record in sophisticated software projects. Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 6 to 8 years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation. Deep technical proficiency building secure custom software applications and cloud computing. A successful history of performing as the technical lead in large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is needed. Ability to work autonomously, with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest industry developments.

Technical Competencies

• Experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#.
• Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools like Azure DevOps, AWS Code tools etc
• Hands-on experience with source code management tools, such as Git, and good knowledge of branching and merging strategies.
• Expertise on agile and DevOps methodologies and understanding of the secure SDLC.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience in deploying and handling applications in the cloud.
• Expertise in Monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, Uptrends, Dynatrace, Prometheus etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of linux administration and networking
• Experience of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and experience with tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• You should have excellent people skills with the ability to empathise with the teams need to balance pace over excellence and will be good at achieving positive outcomes from difficult situations.
• Be a diligent, enthusiastic and confident individual who is committed to continual assessment and improvement.
• You possess good technical capabilities and apply this knowledge to new technologies that you may not be familiar with.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

• Basic knowledge on SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow applications.
• Expericence in handling on-prem infrastructures like Windows VMs and Networking
• Basic understanding of non functional testing like, Security testing, Performance testing and Accessibility testing
• Optional certifications: Microsoft! Certified Azure Fundamentals / Azure Developer Associate / Azure Security Engineer Associate / DevOps EngineerExpert; AWS Certified Solutions Architect ; Certified Scrum Master (CSM); PRINCE2 Foundations
