Job Overview:
We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary SoC programs across global teams. This role demands strong program ownership, strategic foresight, and the ability to drive cross-functional execution from concept through production. You will work closely with other functional TPMs, and at times act as one, to maintain execution rhythm, identify and manage risks, and ensure program alignment across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive SoC programs through all phases of the product lifecycle—from concept through bring-up to production.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking deliverables, achievements, and cross-functional dependencies to meet program goals.
- Collaborate closely with functional TPMs and technical leads to ensure alignment and execution across architecture, design, software, validation, and operations teams.
- Serve as the central coordination point between technical and operational teams to handle scope, resolve blockers, and maintain program focus.
- Anticipate risks and lead structured mitigation plans using data-driven approaches and stakeholder collaboration.
- Drive and prepare for key design and readiness reviews, as well as executive leadership updates, providing transparent insights into progress, risks, and trade-offs.
- Manage material readiness, sample allocation, and logistics to support silicon bring-up and validation achievements.
- Collect lessons learned and integrate protocols into future programs for continuous improvement.
- Lead and contribute to quality, process, and execution capability enhancements across the broader TPM community.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Science or related field.
- 8+ years of technical program management experience leading complex SoC, ASIC, or processor development programs from early architecture through productization.
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture in markets such as data center, networking, or consumer electronics—including interfaces and platform-level dependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead global, multi-disciplinary teams and drive execution across hardware and software functions.
- Skilled in managing ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced, technically complex environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with proven ability to influence without direct authority.
- Track record of delivering high-quality products on time through proactive planning, risk management, and customer alignment.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on technical background in architecture, verification, or validation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern program management tools.
- Experience working with external partners, vendors, or silicon foundries.
