As a Procurement Associate in Procurement Operations, you will direct a team of specialists supporting our transactional and operational procurement processes. In addition, you and the team will positively impact employee and supplier experience. You will perform periodic audits and ensure business processes follow polices and standards and will actively collaborate with procurement colleagues in global locations.
Job Overview:
Procurement Associate will act as a change agent to improve user experience, providing general support to business operations ensuring lights stay on, provide creative solutions to problems and participate in business transformation programs as need arise.
Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement operations support and helpdesk team members and resolve day-to-day issues / challenges.
- Ensure procurement helpdesk is optimally handling and responding to inbound issues and support requests.
- Support transactional purchases and business process tasks in line with agreed service levels and promote preferred buying channels through to pay.
- Document and maintain SOPs, process documents and intranet pages.
- Validate purchase requisition for accuracy, completion, required approvals and compliance with policy.
- Support supplier registration process by proactively coordinating end-to-end and maintain supplier records and related documentation as current.
- Maintain existing supplier catalogs and collaborate for new deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business process work-streams to resolve and reconcile issues.
- Support in preparation of metrics and data analysis to observe process performance and health.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed business process and application support teams to resolve technical issues and problems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of work experience, preferably supporting Procurement business process.
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, S4 HANA, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Prior experience in supporting Source to Pay business process for a technology company.
- Excellent understanding of catalog, contracts and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Open to supporting global time zones (UK & US).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong collaboration skills.
