Job Overview:
Our Solutions Engineering team is expanding in Toronto with the goal of providing additional support for our partner's silicon ambitions. This team builds compute systems integrating many Arm IPs, including CPU, GPU, NPU, and system IPs targeting different market domains ranging from mobile phones, IoT devices, and datacenters, to autonomous driving.
The team is responsible for micro-architecting the system based on requirements and creating the system RTL with all IPs integrated, ensuring it is high performant and meets the area and power targets. We perform robust system verification to help ensure it functions as expected and meets the quality standard expected.
These systems are delivered to external and internal partners through multiple modes.

Job Responsibilities & Required Skills
SOC Architect
- Design and develop Arm’s SoC architecture based on Arm product IP and system architecture to meet the requirements of best-in-class compute across our market segments.
- Work proactively across Arm’s architecture and core technology teams to ensure a roadmap of architecture platforms and technology feature development supporting the needs of leading edge SoCs
SOCVerification
- Execute SOC verification using SV/UVM, C/C++, UVM methodology.
- Validate bus protocols and Arm architecture compliance.
SOC Design
- Integrate IP and develop logic for subsystems.
- Work with the project team to understand and review the subsystem architecture, and develop the design specifications, verification team to review test plans, and help debug design issues as well as the performance analysis team to evaluate and improve subsystem performance.
Technical Program Manager
- Collaborate with Central Engineering technology leads (CPU, GPU..etc), Solution Engineering (SE) technology development, SE power & performance, SE functional leads to develops, maintain, and drives a technology roadmap.
- In-depth knowledge of SOC design principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., design / verification methodologies, physical design
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Prior experience working at an SOC level
- Understanding of Arm Protocols
- Proficient in C, RTL, UVM and/or SystemVerilog
- Prior experience with CDC, RDC and/or LINT
