This role combines hands-on technical ownership of the Sophia Antipolis site with a broader EMEA technical contribution.

You will ensure reliable, safe, and high-performing building operations locally, while also helping to develop and standardise preventive maintenance (PPM), vendor models, and technical practices across multiple sites.

This is a hybrid role: part operator, part builder.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Site Technical Ownership (Sophia)
  • Be responsible for day-to-day on technical operations across building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and access systems
  • Deliver and continuously improve maintenance activities dedicated to improve prevention
  • Act as the key point of contact for technical issues and incidents
  • Carry out hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate asset records, documentation, and compliance standards
  • Monitor system performance and look for opportunities for improvement

2. Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Coordinate and oversee on-site technical vendors and service providers
  • Support clear definition of scopes, expectations, and service levels
  • Contribute to vendor selection, tendering, and contract processes
  • Ensure consistent quality and follow-up of external interventions

3. EMEA Technical Contribution

  • Support the development and implementation of PPM frameworks across sites
  • Supply to optimize technical standards, asset strategies, and protocols
  • Provide technical input and support to other locations where needed
  • To demonstrate autonomy to see opportunities to improve consistency and efficiency across sites

4. Workplace Operations Support

  • Support office setups, internal moves, and technical logistics
  • Carry out light maintenance and multi-trade interventions
  • Assist with day-to-day workplace operational needs

Scope & Impact

  • Technical subject matter contributor for Sophia site operations
  • Contributor to EMEA workplace technical development and consistency
  • Balanced focus on local delivery and wider improvement initiatives

Success in this role is measured by both the performance of the Sophia site and meaningful contributions to enhancing technical practices across multiple locations.

Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience across building systems (electrical, HVAC, general maintenance)
  • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and maintenance processes
  • Ability to resolve issues independently

Vendor Management

  • Experience working with external suppliers and service providers
  • Ability to support coordination, follow-up, and performance tracking

Process and improvement

  • Experience with planned maintenance or structured maintenance approaches
  • Interest in improving and standardising ways of working across sites

Key competencies

Salary Range:

€54,000 - €73,000 per year
