We are looking for someone to play a pivotal role to contribute to Arm’s continued success in the smartphone market with innovative AI technologies. Located in Korea, the position needs to work tightly with regional customers to craft the strategy and future of smartphone.
Job Overview:
You will need the ability to equip yourself with an in-depth technical understanding of various technologies and components that power modern smartphone devices, as well as developing a deep understanding of the smartphone value chain. Armed with this, you will set short and long term market requirements to drive the direction of Arm’s technologies for success in the smartphone market. Working closely with OEM/SoC vendors, you will align on GTM plans and strategies for successful deployment of the Arm based products into the market. Overall, a strong desire and belief to change in the industry, and proactiveness to deliver on such belief would be a core value for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Construct partner strategies and GTM plans and align action plans with Arm partners.
- Work with sales account teams to create and build relationships with partners and construct inside-out knowledge of the partners
- Drive partner engagement and create demand for Arm products/solutions/technologies – including arranging and preparing for partner meetings and the subsequent follow-up
- Work with product and solution managers to ensure the market requirements are well reflected and translated to engineering requirements for Arm product/solution roadmap
- Capture a view of the market, the partner and competitor landscape and key technology trends for a smartphone
- Generate a high quality set of marketing collateral for the promotion of Arm’s solutions for smartphone, tailoring as necessary for partners and target sub-segment
- Work with relevant teams to ensure accurate Y+2 market projection and analyze commercial impact for business scenarios
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Current knowledge of mobile technologies and market dynamics
- A proven experience in the mobile industry or related
- Strong technical background and understanding in mobile and consumer market from semiconductor IP level, key components, to device development
- Strategic big picture thinking, curious and inquisitive
- Ability to analyze industry dynamics with a view to developing forecasts, impacts, and practical strategies for gaining market share
- Outstanding skills in content development for market analysis and presentations
- Interpersonal skills to build and maintain deep partnership and engagement with customers and partners
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including English proficiency
- Active communication with managers, team members, and colleagues/collaborators in the organization
- Enthusiasm, passion, and proactiveness to schedule own workload and plan tasks effectively
- Demonstrable experience aligning multiple collaborators to pursue new strategies and tactical implementation of multi-pronged strategies
