As a member of the CE-SW Group you will have the opportunity to build upon your existing background, knowledge and expertise and contribute to the design and development of Solutions for Mobile, Large Screen Compute and Laptop. This role provides you an opportunity to design and develop Window OS drivers.
You will join a team of Software Developers who all share a passion for wanting to stamp their mark on the future of computing platforms
We seek individuals with exposure and knowledge of System software stack ranging from BareMetal firmware, bootloaders, Windows OS drivers.

Responsibilities:
- Your day-to-day role will involve Windows driver development on Arm hardware, test, and debug on various platforms, including software models, pre-silicon emulation and development boards
- Collaborate with hardware team in providing software requirements
- Developing and maintaining software stacks for Arm’s reference solutions for future Arm devices.
- Your activities will include reviewing patches, testing, bug fixing, performance analysis.
Required Experience and Skills:
- A university degree (or equivalent), ideally in a numerate subject, although other graduates would be considered if they have appropriate experience.
- Experience in embedded software development. Good understanding of Arm hardware.
- Windows OS Software Architecture. Experience in developing KMD and UMD drivers
- Working knowledge on power management stack for Windows OS
- Excellent C skills! Arm assembly programming skills with proficiency with the toolchain, cross compiling and debugging
- Strong interpersonal skills are vital for success; we are looking for excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
- Good understanding of test methodologies, CI and test automation
- Knowledge of computer system architecture (pipelines, caches, MMUs, Interrupt Controllers, timers)
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or batch scripting

Salary Range:
